What can I expect on an Atma Trip?
Each adventure is a unique travel experience that is fun and active but also purposeful. We choose special destinations surrounded by nature and incorporate activities that lift the spirit and balance the mind and body. Each trip is an opportunity for personal growth and a time to create a shift in perspective so you may realize a life filled with joy, trust and self-love.
What is included in the trip?
Accommodations, most meals, activities, experienced guide, and transportation while on trip. Please see specific trip itinerary to see a more detailed list of what is included.
What is not included?
Air and land transportation to and from host city, optional activities, spa services, insurance of any kind, some meals, personal items, alcoholic beverages, gratuities for local guides.
Is there a deposit? Is it refundable? Do you accept payments?
For our domestic trips a non-refundable 500.00 deposit is required to hold your spot. For all international trips a non-refundable 1000.00 deposit is required. All payments are due in full 30 days before departure.
Can I travel alone? Will I be charged extra? Do I have to share a room?
Yes, most of our travelers join because they are traveling solo and want to meet and share experiences with like-minded people. Most of our trips do not have a single supplement. This means, if you are traveling on your own, you will be sharing a room with another traveler. If you would like your own room accommodations can be made at an additional cost and if available. Most of our destinations have limited single occupancy rooms so we suggest requesting this at soon as possible.
Do I need a passport or visa?
Please see specific trip regarding travel documents that are needed.
Do I need travel insurance?
We strongly encourage you purchase travel insurance to protect yourself from any unexpected factors.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations must be received in writing.
For cancellations received 61-90 days prior to the trip departure date: 50% of the total trip cost is non-refundable.
For cancellations received 1-60 days prior to the trip departure date: 100% of the total trip cost is non-refundable.
Are immunizations required for your trips?
It's important that you receive the most accurate and up-to-date travel health information for the area you will be visiting. Please contact your family physician with any questions you may have.
What is the group size for the trips?
We keep our group sizes small. This intimate size ensures that your group will not crowd your experience. You can expect no more than 12 travelers on a trip, but the average is 8-10.
Will you accommodate for special dietary needs during the trip?
We will try our very best to accommodate dietary requirements but, in some locations, it can be difficult to guarantee and may require some flexibility. Please let us know in advance of any dietary needs or allergies so we can contact the hotel and restaurants where we have reservations.
